First, often in entrepreneurship piracy is the best form of flattery. What he did was not criminal. He took our idea and learnings from failure and with a combination of better timing, focus on only that delivery model, and great marketing, he was successful.

Those three men were motivated, inspired and emboldened by each other. The billboard wars on the 101 by each others offices and customer events was also hilarious.

Second, while I have not read that book, its obviously biased toward Marc, so maybe he chose how to frame things. Also, its a book—so it could never tell the whole story. It unravelled over years. This is a much bigger story.
